Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Ward 5 East Coronary Care Unit. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

Responsibilities
n
n
Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
n
Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care
n
Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
n
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
n
Supervise, direct and support nursing team members
n
Deliver education and support to
individuals/patients
for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
n
Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
n
n
Essential Criteria
n
n
Authority to Work in Australia
n
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
n
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
n
At least 2 years' experience as Registered Nurse in an acute ICU, HDU or CCU settings
n
Post Graduate Certificate in ICU/CCU (or working towards) is desirable
n
Clinical experience in an ICU/CCU environment
n
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
n
Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
n
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
n
Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
n
