Key Responsibilities
n
As a Truck Tyre Fitter, your primary duties will include:
n
Tyre Installation and Replacement
n
n
Remove and install truck tyres, including OTR and earthmoving tyres, using appropriate tools and equipment'
n
Ensure correct tyre selection and fitment according to vehicle specifications and customer requirements.
n

Tyre Repair and Maintenance
n
n
Inspect tyres for defects, wear, and damage.
n
Perform puncture repairs, retreading, and balancing.
n
Rotate tyres to ensure even wear and extend tyre life
n
n
Safety Compliance
n
n
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and occupational health and safety regulations.
n
Conduct risk assessments before commencing work.
n
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
n
n
Customer Service
n
n
Interact professionally with B2B clients to understand their tyre needs.
n
Provide expert advice on tyre care and maintenance.
n
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
n
n
Fleet Management Support
n
n
Maintain accurate records of services performed.
n
Collaborate with clients to schedule regular maintenance.
n
n
Equipment Handling and Maintenance
n
n
Operate tyre fitting machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
n
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
n
Work cohesively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
n
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
n

Compliance and Documentation
n
n
Complete all necessary paperwork, including job cards and service reports.
n
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
n
n
Essential Skills and Experience
n
To be successful in this role, you will need:
n
Experience
n
n
Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in truck tyre fitting, specifically with heavy vehicles such as trucks, road trains, OTR vehicles, earthmovers, and cranes.
n
Proven experience working in a B2B environment, servicing commercial clients
n
Proficient in using tyre fitting tools and machinery.
n
Knowledge of various tyre brands,
tread patterns, and specifications.
n
Ability to diagnose tyre-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
n
Valid manual driver's licence (essential).
n
Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology or equivalent (highly desirable).
n
Forklift licence and White Card (desirable).
n
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
n
Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
n

Working Hours: Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 7am am to 5:00 pm. Availability for occasional weekend work and emergency call-outs may be required.

Location: This position is based in Jandakot, Perth, but may require travel to client sites within the region.
n
Eligibility: Applicants must have the right to work in Australia. Sponsorship opportunities available for qualified candidates under the 482 visa program, subject to meeting immigration requirements.
