Major Events Security Officer

At MSS Security, we deliver security services across some of the country's most high-profile major events. We are currently seeking confident, customer-focused Security Officers to join our Major Events team in Melbourne.
n
No prior security experience? No problem. If you have strong customer service skills, excellent communication, and thrive in quick-paced environments, we want to hear from you.

As a Major Events Security Officer, you will play a key role in delivering a safe and positive experience for patrons, staff, and stakeholders across a variety of major events and venues.
n
Your Responsibilities
n
n
Providing exceptional customer service
n
Managing crowd control and patron interactions
n
Monitoring and responding to incidents
n




Maintaining clear and professional radio communication
n
De-escalating situations calmly and confidently in high-pressure environments
n
n
Your Requirements
n
n
A valid Security Licence with Crowd Control
n
Certificate II in Security Operations or higher
n
Current First Aid & CPR
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Excellent verbal communication skills
n
A confident, professional, and calm approach under pressure
n
Strong customer service experience
n
Must be willing to travel across Melbourne event locations
n
n
Flexibility is critical in Major Events. You must be available for:
n
n
Day and evening shifts
n
Weekends and public holidays
n
Short shifts (minimum 4 hours)
n
Variable finish times depending on event operations
n
n
