Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) is entering an exciting new chapter as it transitions to an independent operating model.
We are seeking an experienced healthcare quality leader to lead our Quality function across Ashford Hospital, Flinders Private Hospital and The Memorial Hospital.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the ACHA Quality Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across quality management, accreditation, continuous improvement, consumer experience and organisational quality performance.
Working in close partnership with the site-based quality coordinators, ACHA Risk & Governance Manager and Executive Leadership Team, you will play a key role in ensuring ACHA maintains high standards of care while designing and embedding an independent quality function for the future.
Key Responsibilities
Lead ACHA's Quality Strategy and organisation-wide Quality Improvement Program.
Establish and embed ACHA's independent Quality function as part of the transition
Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with national standards.
Quality Management systems, quality activities and organisational quality reporting.
Coordinate accreditation preparedness and ongoing compliance with applicable standards.
Drive quality improvement, clinical audit and organisational learning across the organisation.
Lead consumer experience, consumer engagement and patient-reported outcome and experience initiatives.
Provide Executive and Board quality reporting, performance monitoring and benchmarking.
Support key clinical quality programs, including infection prevention,



research governance, credentialing and specialty accreditation activities.
Develop organisational capability through education, coaching and collaboration.
Work closely with the ACHA Risk & Governance Manager to support an integrated governance and assurance framework.

About You




Demonstrated leadership experience in healthcare quality, accreditation or continuous improvement within a hospital or complex healthcare environment.
Proven experience implementing Quality Management Systems and leading organisation-wide quality improvement programs.
Experience preparing organisations for accreditation against the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
Strong understanding of healthcare quality legislation, standards and regulatory requirements.
Experience developing Executive, Board and Committee quality reporting and using data to drive improvement.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across clinical and corporate teams.
Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Allied Health or another relevant health discipline with current professional registration where applicable.
Postgraduate qualifications in Quality, Health Management, Healthcare Leadership or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
