n We are seeking Registered Midwives to join the team of professionals in providing excellent patient care.
n
As a Registered Midwife your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Provide high standards of evidence-based midwifery care to women of varying ages and cultural groups
n
Plan, assess, implement and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with women, their families and the multidisciplinary team so as to achieve identified goals and health outcomes.
n
Supervise, direct, guide junior nurses and undergraduate midwives in provision of midwifery care
n
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
n

The Early Parenting Unit offers both outpatient day programs as well as a residential inpatient stay for families who require support following the arrival of a current baby and throughout their first year.

Current Registration with AHPRA
n
Working with Children check (if relevant)
n
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
n
Highly developed clinical skills in maternity services: antenatal/birth suite/postnatal care
n
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
n
Adaptable and flexible approach to work practice
