The Opportunity
n
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Trade Information Officer to join our Trade, Customer Service & Support team. Reporting to the Manager Trade, Customer Service & Support, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of trade information that underpins revenue generation, reporting and customer service.

Your Day-to-Day Impact
n
n
Process and reconcile containerised, non-containerised and miscellaneous cargo manifests, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
n
Process trade information to generate accurate cargo and vessel charges in accordance Fremantle Ports' charging policies and procedures.
n
Liaise with customers, cargo agents and stevedores regarding trade information, charges, quotations and shipping statistics.
n
Compile, analyse and report trade statistics and performance indicators to support business decision-making.
n
Support financial processes through invoice preparation, accrual reporting and audit activities.
n
Contribute to continuous improvement by maintaining procedures, documentation and internal controls within the Trade Information function.

The Expertise You Bring
n
n
Experience working with computerised business systems and processing large volumes of data with a high degree of accuracy.
n
Knowledge of shipping, logistics, transport, maritime or related operational environments.
n
Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
n
Strong attention to detail and the ability to process, verify and reconcile information accurately
n
Excellent customer service, communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
n
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing competing priorities.
n
Knowledge of port operations, relevant legislation or commercial business practices will be highly regarded.
n
