Senior Accountant, Property Finance (12-month fixed term contract)

Role Overview
n
Join ESR Group's Property Finance team to support the financial management of ESR's property portfolio. You will be responsible for the end-to-end financial management of a diverse property portfolio, partnering closely with Asset Management and Property teams to deliver accurate reporting, compliance and commercial insights.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Month-end reporting, including accruals, prepayments, IFRS adjustments and reconciliations
n
Preparation of GL and statutory trust account reconciliations
n
Monthly P&L; reporting and variance analysis
n
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and capital expenditure tracking
n
Managing owner remittances and PM fee forecasting
n
Coordinating annual outgoings reconciliations with Property Managers
n
Supporting audits, compliance and trust accounting requirements
n
Partnering with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and drive strong portfolio performance
n

Requirements
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n




CA/CPA qualification and a relevant tertiary degree, coupled with 3-5 years' experience in commercial property accounting
n
Strong technical accounting capability, including a sound understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting and compliance requirements
n
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to confidently manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
n
A proactive, self-motivated approach, high attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability, integrity and ownership
n
Experience partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver commercial insights and support informed business decision-making
n

Preferred Skills
n
n
Exposure to Yardi Voyager and/or BlackLine
n
Confidence using AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve efficiency, accuracy and productivity while maintaining strong data governance and quality standards
n
