I'm currently working with a highly regarded commercial builder who is looking for an experienced Foreman to join their team on a landmark $30M education project in Ipswich.

This is a genuine prospect for a proven construction professional who enjoys being hands‐on, leading trades and keeping a project moving. You'll work closely with an experienced Site Manager, giving you the support and structure to focus on site delivery and getting the job done right.

The Role
n
As Foreman, you will be responsible for coordinating day‐to‐day site activities and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
n
Key duties include:
n
n
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and site trades
n
Manage daily site activities and construction sequencing
n
Coordinate trades to ensure programme milestones are achieved
n
Monitor quality, workmanship and construction standards
n
Conduct pre‐starts, toolbox talks and site inspections
n
Coordinate materials, deliveries and site logistics
n
Identify and resolve site issues as they arise
n




Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
n
Maintain a strong focus on WHS and site compliance
n
Work closely with the Site Manager to drive project delivery
n
n
What You'll Need
n
n
Minimum 5 years' experience working on commercial school/education projects
n
A strong carpentry trade background
n
Proven experience as a Foreman or leading hand within commercial construction
n
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination
n
Excellent subcontractor and trade management skills
n
Current First Aid certification
n
Strong commitment to safety, quality and programme
n
The ability to work collaboratively with a Site Manager and broader project team
n
