This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced WHS Advisor to support major construction, infrastructure, maintenance and operational activities within a complex, highly regulated environment.
n
The risk profile is incredibly varied, spanning major construction projects, aviation and airfield operations, roads and transport infrastructure, electrical and utilities works, facilities maintenance and large contractor workforces.
n
Initially offered as a 6-month contract, with a start date in mid September, there is strong potential for extension or ongoing work given the significant pipeline of projects ahead.

The Opportunity
n
Joining an experienced team of Safety Advisors, you will provide additional support across multiple portfolios, with a particular focus on construction, infrastructure and maintenance projects.
n
This is a hands-on, site-based role where you will:
n

Conduct WHS inspections across active projects and operational areas
n
Partner with contractors, project teams and operational stakeholders
n
Review risk assessments, SWMS and safety documentation
n
Support contractor safety performance and compliance
n
Conduct and support incident investigations
n




Provide practical advice across a broad range of operational risks
n
n
With multiple projects occurring concurrently, you will need to be comfortable navigating competing priorities and using sound judgement in a fast-moving workplace.

About You
n
We are looking for an experienced WHS professional who can quickly establish credibility across both site and corporate stakeholders.
n
You will ideally bring:
n
n
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or higher
n
3+ years' practical WHS experience
n
High-risk construction, major infrastructure and/or aviation experience
n
Strong contractor management and site inspection capability
n
Incident investigation experience
n
Confidence reviewing SWMS, risk assessments and safety documentation
n
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
The ability to work autonomously and effectively prioritise competing demands
n
