Job Description
Contracts Administrator – Fit-Out/Refurb
n
Excellent opportunity to join a growing fit-out/refurb contractor with a strong order book and a reputation for delivering quality projects with great leadership.
n
A market-leading fit-out/refurb contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join their growing business. Projects will be fit-out and refurbishments from $1m to $10m (and up to $20m) across Commercial, Retail and Hospitality sectors. Experience with similar projects in these sectors or similar will be an advantage.

You will be responsible for the management and administration of contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality delivery and profitability while minimising financial and contractual risks.
n
The position will be based at the head office with site visits and will offer opportunities for career progression toward Project
Coordinator/Project
Engineer and then Project Manager over time.
n
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
n
n
Managing all aspects of the subcontract process
n
Negotiating and reviewing subcontract tenders, including preparation of tender comparisons
n
Preparing, checking and reviewing subcontract packages, scopes, lettings and procurement schedules
n
Monitoring subcontractors to ensure adherence to environmental commitments and responsibilities
n
Preparation of accurate payment schedules
n
Understanding and managing subcontractor contractual risk
n
Processing progress claims, delay claims and external variations according to contractual obligations
n
Preparation of project budgets for review and provide accurate rolling final account forecasts
n

Qualifications and Requirements:
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or similar
n
Ideally 2 to 3+ years' experience in the construction industry, ideally with a fit-out and refurb contractor
n
Strong financial analysis and administrative focus
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
Well-developed interpersonal skills
n
Experience with Microsoft Office suite
n
Construction Safety Induction (white) card
n
n
