About the Role
As an Executive Assistant supporting the Executive Director, Strategy, Performance and Industry Development, you will play a critical role in enabling the successful operation of a busy executive office and leadership team.
Acting as a trusted partner, you will provide high-level executive support, manage competing priorities and help ensure the Executive Director can focus on delivering outcomes that support the future growth and development of NSW's resources sector.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
You will coordinate complex diaries and commitments, prepare high-quality correspondence and briefing materials, support branch initiatives and projects, and build strong relationships with stakeholders across government and industry.
Working at the centre of a agile branch, you will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact while developing your skills in a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment.

NSW Resources, a division of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, is responsible for the strategic management, regulation, and sustainable development of New South Wales' mineral and energy resources.
We support safe, responsible exploration and mining, working closely with communities, landholders, and industry stakeholders to balance economic growth with environmental protection.

regulating exploration and mining through licensing, compliance and enforcement
enforcing safety regulations to ensure the safety of workers in the industry
developing policies for responsible and sustainable resource use
managing geoscientific data and geological mapping via the Geological Survey of NSW
supporting investment and economic development in the resources sector
overseeing mine rehabilitation
engaging with communities to promote transparency and land access collaboration.
