Matrix Education is now hiring Maths Teachers to join our growing team at our Bella Vista, Chatswood, Epping or
Hurstvillecampuses.
With both casual and full-time opportunities available, you'll be teaching in a supportive, professional, and inspiring environment.
n
As a Maths Teacher at Matrix, you will teach your regular classes each week at one of our fabulous campuses, with minimal preparation required, as lessons and resources are prepared for you.
n
This role is ideal for a current NESA accredited Teacher, a professional with previous teaching experience, or a postgraduate student (MTeach, MD or PhDc).
n
Our classes run after school on weekdays and on weekends.
n
What you'll do...
n
n
Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the academic term (all lesson materials and resources are prepared for you),
n




Teaching opportunities available on weekdays during the NSW school holiday period,
n
Ongoing monitoring of student's academic progress through marking of short weekly quizzes,
n
Flagging of struggling students to academic team leaders for additional academic mentoring.
n

What you'll need...
n
n
A genuine passion for teaching,
n
Previous experience teaching secondary Maths in a classroom setting,
n
Extensive knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in stage 4, 5, and 6 Maths,
n
Completed their degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, Engineering or a related discipline,
n
Postgraduate studies in the above listed disciplines will be highly regarded.
