ABOUT THE ROLE
Lake Imaging, founded in ****, has become the largest radiology provider in central and western Victoria with more than 19 clinics provides a wide range of diagnostic imaging services to the St John of God private hospitals, community-based clinics and speciality centres in Melbourne, Ballarat, Geelong, and Warrnambool.
We have the rare opportunity for an Ultrasound Supervisor to join the Lake Imaging team to support the Ultrasound department by maintaining a high quality, effective services for our patients and referrers; providing leadership and direction to staff under supervision; to managing rosters and leave for technical staff.
Supervising the practice workflow to meet nominated timeframes
Perform high quality medical imaging diagnostic examinations in compliance with protocols
Be familiar with all equipment and accessories provided so that a fluent examination can be undertaken
Demonstrate leadership in the treatment patients with care, compassion, dignity, and respect always and without compromise
Provide high quality and safe service that is accessible and sustainable
Foster good public relations and communications with your team, patients, relatives, visitors, and the general public
Advanced Sonography in MSK, OBs, Gyne and general US – share your passion!
Identifying training for junior Sonographers as required

ABOUT YOU
Demonstrated leadership experience in a Senior Sonographer, Modality Supervisor, or similar position
Holds ASAR and professional indemnity insurance
Regularly participates in further education and continued career development
Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Strong attention to detail
A passionate and 'can-do' attitude
