JOB DESCRIPTION
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a Clinical Support Nurse (CSN) to join our team based in Camperdown, with a primary focus on supporting Leura Aged Care.
This rewarding role is responsible for providing clinical leadership, education, mentoring and hands-on support to nurses, students and other clinical staff to promote the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
The CSN plays a key role in workforce development, supporting nursing and medical students, enhancing clinical capability, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, the successful candidate will contribute to staff development initiatives and help strengthen the delivery of aged care services across the organisation.

About the Candidate
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Postgraduate qualification in Nursing or equivalent.
Minimum three years' experience in aged care nursing.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, tertiary qualification in Education, or willingness to work towards obtaining one.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
Advanced clinical knowledge and experience within an aged care healthcare setting.
Proven ability to provide expert clinical advice, support and mentorship to nursing staff.
Experience in the development, delivery and evaluation of education and training programs.
Ability to assess clinical competencies and provide constructive feedback to support staff development.
Demonstrated skills in tailoring education and training to meet the needs of diverse learners, while engaging and inspiring participation.
Commitment to person-centred care, quality improvement and best-practice clinical outcomes.
