The opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join the P-8A Sustainment Program based at RAAF Edinburgh.
This position will deliver supply chain support to P-8A sustainment program, with a focus on Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) supply support, to ensure timely and positive outcomes having a direct impact on the success of the capability.
Responsibilities
Provide logistics support for P-8A Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) supply support
Identify and resolve customer supply chain issues and discrepancies
Ensure import and export requirements are met and compliant with Global Trade Controls
Managing orders and delivery schedules
Provide support for managing repairable items and consumables inventory
Experience/Qualifications
Minimum 3 years logistics experience within an aerospace/aviation environment, defence experience will be highly regarded
Demonstrated experience in building and communicating logistics strategies,



and the ability to adapt to schedule constraints
Ability to work with a highly level of autonomy in a fast-paced environment
High level communication skills to facilitate open interaction between customer support teams and key internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrate experience in identifying, establishing and promoting supply process improvements at the project level
Competent in the use of PC, MS Windows and MS Office suite
Knowledge of Oracle ERP will be highly regarded
Knowledge of SAP D-ERP will be highly regarded
Supply support services knowledge, skills and experience
NV1 security clearance or ability to obtain one.
