CITIC Pacific Mining is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our Site Support Services team.
This is a permanent 2/1 (Days & Nights) roster FIFO from Perth.
Reporting to the Supervisor – Site Support Services, this role is responsible for operating variety of mobile cranes and equipment across the Sino Iron project.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
Safe and successful operation of mobile cranes
Determine the type of lifting equipment required for a particular task and work closely with riggers and maintenance crews to ensure the lift is carried out in a safe and time efficient manner.
Minor maintenance on cranes
Rigging duties as required
Successful applicant will have:
Minimum 5 years' experience in mining/resources sector with mobile cranes
Knowledge of Australian Standards for Crane and Rigging industry
Current HR Drivers Licence
Intermediate Riggers Tickets
White Card
Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) or ability to obtain
High level of commitment to safety and safe work practice
You will have good communication skills, be flexible and able to work as part of a tight knit team
