From overseeing the initial setup and fit-out through to developing efficient processes and building a high-performing team, you'll have genuine ownership and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Working closely with our National Operations Manager, you'll help establish a DC known for speed, service, reliability and culture. You'll thrive in this role if you enjoy building and improving systems, leading from the front and solving problems in a fast-paced setting. Just as importantly, you'll know how to remain calm under pressure and bring people with you through periods of growth and change.

The Role
n
Lead the day-to-day operations of the Distribution Centre, including three Shift Managers and a new build team of 30+ employees
n
Oversee receiving, put-away, picking and dispatch operations to consistently achieve operational KPIs
n
Analyse operational performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and service
n
Lead performance management,



coaching and development across the warehouse team
n
Plan and allocate resources across shifts to ensure operational requirements are met
n
Build a high-performing, team-oriented team culture aligned with Tradezone's values and leadership behaviours
n
Champion a zero-harm safety culture, ensuring compliance with safety systems, audits and risk management processes
n
Work autonomously to solve operational challenges and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
n
Build strong relationships across Operations, Commercial, Head Office and other key business units
n
Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and warehouse operations
n
About You
n
5+ years' hands-on experience in a similar senior
warehouse/operations
management role
n
Proven experience leading large, diverse teams in a fast-paced warehouse environment
n
Strong leadership, coaching and performance management skills
n
A demonstrated ability to analyse KPIs, solve problems and drive continuous improvement
n
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence communicating with Executive Management
n
Strong Microsoft Office and general IT skills
n
High emotional intelligence and the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the business
n
Ability to travel to Queensland for initial training

Current LF forklift licence — essential
