LAB3 is one of Australasia's largest Azure engineering practices, specialising in Cloud infrastructure, DevOps, Data & AI, Modern Workplace (M365), and Security.

We're looking for a Modern Cloud Engineer with NV1 clearance for a 6 month contract at an attractive daily rate!

The role
n
n
Deliver modern desktop, Intune, endpoint, and Microsoft 365 workplace solutions across design, build, testing, and deployment engagements.
n
Lead technical delivery across Intune, Entra ID, endpoint compliance, application packaging, Autopilot, and modern device management initiatives.
n
Support hybrid workplace transformation with secure identity, endpoint protection, mobility, and desktop cloud integration capabilities.
n
Act as an escalation point for clients and internal teams, resolving complex endpoint and workplace engineering challenges.
n
Work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric modern workplace experiences aligned to enterprise standards.
n
Contribute to project governance, technical documentation, transition planning, and delivery quality across Qualified Services engagements.
n
Use automation, scripting, and cloud management capabilities to streamline operations and improve client outcomes.
n




Build trusted stakeholder relationships and deliver high-impact outcomes from discovery through to implementation.

With exposure to the below tech stack

Microsoft Intune
n
Microsoft Entra ID and Entra Connect
n
Microsoft 365 administration
n
Azure cloud tenant management and operational support
n
Windows Server, including hybrid integration scenarios
n
PowerShell scripting and automation
n
Microsoft Graph API and integration patterns
n

The important details
n

You must be an Australian Citizen with NV1 clearance to work in Federal government environments
n
The successful candidate must be open to working 2-3 days on site in Melbourne or Canberra based offices
n
