My client runs a well-established craft brewery and hospitality business, known for its quality beer, relaxed atmosphere and strong connection with the local community. With a busy brewery and pub operation, the business is looking for an experienced hospitality professional to take ownership of their new venue's day-to-day operations.

The Role
n
Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the daily operation of the venue, ensuring exceptional service, strong team performance and a consistently high standard across the venue.
n
This is a hands-on leadership position suited to a Venue Manager who enjoys being on the floor, leading from the front and creating a positive and well-organised environment for both customers and staff.

You will be responsible for:
n
n
Leading the venue team across a seven-day trading operation
n
Managing day-to-day FOH and BOH operations to ensure smooth service
n
Rostering, team coordination and performance management
n
Managing stock, budgets and operational costs
n
Maintaining high standards of customer service and venue presentation
n
Ensuring compliance with licensing, health and safety requirements
n
Coaching and developing the team to deliver consistent service standards
n
Working closely with senior management to achieve operational and financial targets
n

The Candidate
n




We are looking for an experienced Venue Manager or senior hospitality professional who thrives in a busy, hands-on environment and understands what it takes to run a successful pub, brewery or high-volume hospitality venue.
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
Proven experience managing a hospitality venue, ideally within a pub or brewery environment
n
Robust operational and commercial understanding, including budgets, stock and labour
n
Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop FOH and BOH teams
n
A hands-on management style with a strong presence on the floor
n
The ability to work across all service periods and lead by example
n
Strong knowledge of hospitality compliance, licensing, health and safety
n
Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
n
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering a great customer experience
n

The Opportunity
n
n
Permanent Venue Manager position
n
$90,000 - $100,000 per annum
n
Five-day roster across a seven-day operation
n
Two consecutive days off
n
Hands-on leadership role with genuine operational ownership
n
Opportunity to join a respected Queensland craft brewery and hospitality business
n
RSA required
n
n
Hospitality management qualification or equivalent industry experience preferred and previous brewery, pub or craft beverage venue experience highly regarded.
