Maximum Term, Full time position available to 1 November****, based at our Werribee Education Hub
The Work Placement Coordinator is responsible forfacilitating and coordinating student work placements acrossvarious Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses
Annual salary is $79,627 + 12% super

About the role:
The VET Work Placement Coordinator positioninvolves developing strong relationships with industry partners,supporting students in their placement journey, and ensuringcompliance with relevant regulations and standards.
This positionrequires excellent stakeholder engagement, working closely withrelevant managers, support and delivery AMES clients and communitypartners, and host organisations for work placement for VETstudents.




This position ensures students gain meaningful,industry-relevant experiences that align with their courserequirements and career goals.
To be considered for this role, you will be able todemonstrate the following key selection criteria:
Minimum Certificate III in Business Administration,Business, Education, Community Services or similar field;AND
At least 3 years' experience in an administration role, inwork placement coordination, in vocational education, inindustry partnership, in education, social or communityservices; AND
A current Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or otherqualification in Adult Education
Demonstrated ability to coordinate work placements ineducation, training, or a related industry
Proven ability to establish and maintain strategicpartnerships with community service organisations andemployers
Strong knowledge of compliance requirements in the VETsector, including ASQA, Skills First, ACWA and other regulatoryframeworks
Strong interpersonal and professional skills including theability to build and maintain working stakeholder relationshipsand to advocate on a client's behalf to achieve effective workplacements
Ability to maintain respectful, equitable, fair, and honestinteraction with clients, staff, and external stakeholders,maintaining a culturally safe and sensitive environment
Proven organisational and time-management skills, with theability to prioritise workloads, plan work programs, and meetdeadlines
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team ina busy environment
Proficiency in using databases,



spreadsheets, and otherrelevant software tools
Ability to provide clear guidance and feedback to placementstudents in the context of individual and groupsupervision
Strong knowledge of the VET sector, including industrytrends, requirements and job market demands
Excellent communication skills, both verbal andwritten
Excellent administrative efficiency and record-keepingskills
Commitment to creating a culturally safe and inclusiveenvironment
This position may require occasional travel to visitplacement sites and attend industry meetings.
It is a mandatory requirement for the position holder tohave and maintain a current Working With Children Check(Employee).
