Provide student-centred support using trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches
Coordinate and deliver programs and initiatives supporting student welfare, mental health and harm prevention
Provide guidance on support services, pathways and reporting options
Apply policies, frameworks and legislation to individual and situational needs
Manage intake, triage and case coordination
Maintain accurate records and confidentiality
Travel to UQ campuses at Dutton Park, Gatton and Herston while being predominantly based at St Lucia
Respond to disclosures of gender-based violence, behavioural risks and other concerns
Deliver coordinated, timely responses prioritising safety, wellbeing and dignity for students and staff
Requirements
A degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Demonstrated judgement in applying policies, procedures and legislation, with the ability to adapt processes to meet outcomes
Experience coordinating programs, projects or initiatives, including planning, timelines and delivery
Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a service-focused environment
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making




Maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the appointment
Successful completion of applicable pre-employment checks, which may include right-to-work verification, criminal history, Blue Card, gender-based violence, integrity and conduct checks
