Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking to take the next step in your career while remaining hands-on?
We are seeking a Reliability Trades Coordinator to join our Allansford site in a newly created position designed to support our Reliability and Production teams.
As a key member of the Reliability team, you will act as the link between the Reliability Supervisor and the trade workforce, helping coordinate daily maintenance activities, support breakdown response, drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure operational priorities are executed effectively.
About the Role
This position is an extension of a Fitter & Turner role and combines hands-on maintenance work with day-to-day coordination of trade resources and activities.
You will continue performing mechanical maintenance while providing support and guidance to team members and helping maintain strong communication between maintenance and production teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating daily maintenance activities and trade resources
Supporting breakdown response and troubleshooting activities
Assisting with the allocation and prioritisation of maintenance work
Providing coaching and technical support to trades personnel
Supporting shutdown planning and execution
Maintaining accurate maintenance documentation and records in SAP
What You'll Bring
Essential Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical) or Fitter & Turner Trade Qualification
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work collaboratively across maintenance and production teams
Experience using maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office applications
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to coordinate competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Highly Regarded FMCG, food manufacturing or dairy industry experience
Previous Leading Hand, Team Leader, Coordinator or leadership experience
SAP PM and CMMS experience
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement experience
Leadership experience is desirable but not essential.
