ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Painting Apprentice, your duties will include:
Carryingout measurements and basic calculations
Readingand interpreting plans and specifications
Erectingand maintaining trestle and plank systems
Handlingpainting and decorating materials
Usingpainting and decorating tools and equipment
Removingand replacing doors, windows, and components
Preparingsurfaces for painting
Applyingpaint using brushes and rollers
Applyingtextured coating finishes by brush, roller, roller, andspray
ABOUT YOU
Agenuine interest in undertaking a PaintingApprenticeship
AWhite Card, or the ability to obtain one as soon aspossible
Physicalfitness and the ability to perform manual labour
Awillingness to learn and work as part of a team
Apositive attitude, reliability,



and strong workethic
Theability to follow instructions and take direction
Trustworthinessand motivation
Preferred(but not essential):
Acurrent driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Previouspainting or construction-related work experience

Tobe eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship, you must be anAustralian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold an eligible visa with approved working rights in Australia.
