About therole:
Are youready to make a real difference in the lives of young people?
We'reon the lookout for a Youth Access Worker to become a vital part ofour dedicated headspace Emerald team.
As thefirst point of contact for young people accessing our services,you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming, supportiveenvironment.
You'll conduct initial psychosocial assessments,collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team, and help guide eachyoung person towards care and support they need.
Whatwill a typical day look like?
Monitor and conductpsychosocial assessments on headspace Emerald young people toascertain social, emotional, and mental healthneeds.
Deliver evidencebased brief interventions, including group interventions andproblem solving with young people and theirfamilies.
Provide aninclusive practice that values the significance of family andfriends.
Attend andcontribute to regular Care Coordination ReviewMeetings.
Assist and provideappropriate and timely referrals for a range of treatments andservices offered by headspace Emerald's partners, PrivatePractitioners, and other key agencies.
MandatoryRequirements:
Diploma in SocialWork, Mental Health, Psychology, Occupational Therapy orrelevant.

Astrong communicator, able to quickly build rapport andinfluence across a diverse range of people.
