Job Description Benefits Play a key role on a landmark WA water infrastructure project Project Allowance Alkimos Location Career development opportunties Project Info ACCIONA leads the Alkimos Seawater Alliance, delivering a new desalination plant north of Perth as part of a $2.8 billion program of works.
Stage 1 will supply 150 million litres of drinking water daily, addressing declining rainfall and population growth.
The project includes ocean intake and outfall pipelines and a 33.5km supply pipeline to Wanneroo, targeting completion in ****.
The Structural Supervisor oversees and coordinates all structural construction activities to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
The role provides day‐to‐day supervision of structural crews and subcontractors, managing resources, plant, and site activities to meet project requirements.
Working closely with project engineers and site leadership, the Structural Supervisor ensures compliance with WHS and quality standards, addresses constructability issues, and maintains productivity to achieve project schedules and milestones
Key accountabilities
Plan and allocate daily work fronts for mechanical crews
Coordinate labour, plant and materials across the site
Review drawings, method statements and work packs
Monitor progress against schedule and resolve site issues
Enforce safety procedures, permits and isolations
Inspect completed works and manage punch items
Report progress, risks and resource needs to the Project Manager
Required Skills and Competencies
Certificate IV in Construction Supervision or equivalent desirable Trade qualification relevant to structural steel, concrete, or construction disciplines
Minimum 5+ years' experience in a construction or engineering environment, including experience in a Foreman or Supervisor role
Proven experience delivering structural works on Tier 1 construction or infrastructure projects
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions‐focused approach
Ability to manage multiple work fronts and adapt effectively to changing site conditions, with a demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and environmental best practice
Ability to obtain pre-employment medical and National Crime Check
