About therole
Bunge isseeking a motivated and customer-focused Shipping Assistant to joinour Shipping team in Melbourne on a fixed-term, part-timebasis.
Reportingto the Sr Manager Industrial Management East Coast, you will playan important role in supporting the efficient execution of grainexport and domestic shipping activities.
Working closely withexporters, transport providers, operational sites and internalstakeholders, you will assist with shipping administration,customer service, regulatory compliance and the coordination ofgrain movements across the supply chain.
This isan excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-orientedprofessional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and iskeen to develop their knowledge of the grain export, logistics andagribusiness sectors.
Duties
Respond to enquiriesfrom sellers, exporters, transport providers and operationalsites, providing a high level of customer service andsupport
Accurately enter andmaintain shipping, order and transaction information acrossrelevant systems
Generate anddistribute shipping reports and documentation asrequired
Process domesticoutturn transactions through internal systems
Liaise with internaland external stakeholders to support the timely execution ofgrain shipments
Assist in monitoringshipment schedules and resolving administrative issues tosupport operational requirements
Support compliancewith MICoR requirements, Department of Agriculture guidelinesand customer specifications
Workclosely with storage and handling operations to supportcontainer export and import activities
Maintain accuraterecords and ensure data integrity across shipping andoperational systems
Provideadministrative and operational support to the Shipping team andundertake other duties as required

Ability to managecompeting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive andsolutions-focused, with the confidence to useinitiative
Strong MicrosoftOffice skills, particularly Excel
Previous experiencein administration, logistics, shipping or customer service isdesirable
Interest in thegrain, agriculture, logistics or export sectors and awillingness to learn
