About the role
The position rotates between four key roles on a seven day a week rotating roster.
Rotate across Admissions, Emergency, Planned Admissions and Billing, with no two days the same.
Support patients from admission to discharge by coordinating bookings, confirming health fund eligibility and providing outstanding customer service.
Liaise with patients, clinicians, health funds and insurers to ensure a smooth admissions and billing experience.
Process patient records, health fund claims and payments while maintaining accurate and confidential documentation.
About you
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical solutions and manage complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills,



with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and prepare clear, professional reports and correspondence.
Experience working with Medicare, private health insurance, patient billing or hospital revenue processes, with knowledge of the public health system highly regarded.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy.
Well-developed negotiation, customer service and interpersonal skills, supported by proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient administration systems, and the flexibility to work a seven-day rotating roster, including after-hours shifts.
