Senior Procurement Planning Specialist (Corporate Procurement)
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Planning Specialist (Corporate Procurement) to join our Finance & Procurement division in a max term role until 30th September ****.
The Finance & Procurement Division provides strategic financial and procurement support across the business, ensuring effective governance,



operational excellence, and the resources needed for TMCA to deliver on its strategic objectives.
This role is based in Port Melbourne, with regular travel to the Altona office and access to versatile working arrangements.
Responsibilities
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of procurement strategies, policies, processes, systems, and procedures to support business objectives and compliance requirements.
Drive annual procurement planning and long-term strategic initiatives, ensuring best practice across people, processes, technology, and governance.
Monitor procurement performance, analyse key metrics, and recommend improvement initiatives to achieve operational and strategic objectives.
Lead and deliver continuous improvement (Kaizen) projects across procurement processes, policies, systems, and ways of working.
Manage procurement reporting and analytics, providing insights on spend, supplier performance, procurement activity, and business outcomes.
Support sourcing, supplier selection, contract processes, and ongoing supplier management while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and risk management requirements.
Requirements & Attributes




Degree qualification or equivalent professional experience.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the business.
Solid understanding of procurement processes, policies, and best practices.
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategies, policies, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong analytical capability, including experience managing large data sets and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience in project management and procurement technologies is advantageous, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
