Job Title - Logistics Technician Job Id ******* Security Clearance: NV1 Clearance Length of Contract: 9 months The role closes on 08/09/2026 Location: Osborne, SA Key Responsibilities: Assist to identify Alternate Parts and confirm Form-Fit-Function equivalence Assist MARSPT with Technical Assessment of Alternate Items of Supply Conduct on-board audit of ship fitted Certified Items and Engineering Register data, and collection of associated OQE.
Audit Registerable Plant and collect and register associated OQE - requires experience and understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic and other pressure systems and the associated safety considerations.
Assist in the collection of pre-acceptance maintenance triggers and associated OQE Audit ILS data against the combat system Condition Assess removed / return equipment for refurbishment or re- testing required and for remaining life.
This position works in a complex operating setting as part of NCB, which operates in Adelaide and Henderson.
This position supports the implementation and delivery of continuous shipbuilding and is an integral part of the Logistic Support area within NCB.
