Our client is seeking an experienced, trade-qualified Welder or Fitter/Welder to join their established manufacturing team based in Belmont on a casual basis.
This is a great chance for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in producing high-quality fabricated products and enjoys working in a safety-focused workshop environment.
This is a hands-on manufacturing position working on the production of drilling equipment and components for the mining industry.
The successful candidate will work with steel, stainless steel and aluminium and will be part of an experienced production team.
This role is workshop-based rather than site-based or shutdown work and would suit someone with strong technical welding skills who can confidently interpret drawings, maintain quality standards and work effectively within a team.
What you'll be doing: Completing MIG, FCAW and TIG welding Fabricating products and components using steel, stainless steel and aluminium Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and specifications Operating,
