About the Opportunity
n
We are seeking an experiencedArea Managerto lead our Department of Housing contract based out of our Burswood office.
n
You will take overall responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of a large-scale residential maintenance contract, delivering services across the South-Metro area. This includes maintenance of tenanted and vacant properties, minor works and refurbishments.
n
You will lead a team of Supervisors and Coordinators, oversee our direct trade workforce and vendor network, and work closely with key clients and stakeholders to ensure strong service delivery, quality and performance.
n

Key Responsibilities
n

Lead day-to-day delivery of the Department of Housing WA contract across South Metro Perth
n
Lead, support and develop a high-performing operational and trade workforce
n
Own contract budgets, commercial performance and delivery against KPIs
n
Maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
n
Oversee quality assurance, safety and risk management across the contract
n
Manage subcontractor and vendor performance and support supplier growth
n
Monitor service delivery, financial performance and operational outcomes

Drive continuous improvement and ensure a high standard of customer service
n
n
About You
n
You are an experienced operational or contract manager with a strong background in maintenance, facilities management, housing or a similar environment.
n
You are a confident leader with strong commercial awareness, excellent stakeholder skills and a hands‐on approach to delivering results. You understand how to balance people leadership, customer service, safety, quality and commercial performance.
n
You will bring:
n
n
Proven experience in operational or contract management within a maintenance, housing or facilities setting
n
Strong leadership experience across supervisors, trades and operational teams
n
Commercial and budget management experience
n
Strong understanding of KPIs, service delivery and client management
n
Experience managing direct workforces and subcontractor/vendor networks
n
Strong focus on safety, quality and risk management
n
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
