With a purpose to improve life for women through cancer research, ANZGOG | WomenCan leads multidisciplinary clinical trials focused on the prevention, detection and treatment of gynaecological cancers.
Through world-class, investigator-led research, collaboration and fundraising, the organisation is helping improve outcomes and create a better future for women affected by gynaecological cancer.
Impact of the Role Joining at an exciting time of growth for ANZGOG | WomenCan, this newly created Key Relationship Specialist role offers the opportunity to help shape and build a developing area of fundraising with significant potential for growth.
You will play an significant role in building a sustainable pipeline of high-value income, managing and growing meaningful relationships across major donors, Gifts in Wills supporters, major community fundraisers and corporate partners.
Working closely with the Head of Fundraising and wider team, you will have the opportunity to build on existing relationships and identify new opportunities, developing tailored engagement and stewardship plans that deepen supporter connection and grow long-term value.
You will create compelling proposals and communications that bring ANZGOG | WomenCan's research and impact to life.
This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-led fundraiser who is motivated by real ownership and the opportunity to influence how this program evolves.
You will strengthen supporter journeys, grow long-term engagement and ultimately generate vital income to improve outcomes for women affected by gynaecological cancer.
Key Responsibilities Manage and grow a portfolio of major donors, Gifts in Wills supporters, major community fundraisers and corporate partners, building strong and lasting relationships.
Develop and deliver tailored cultivation, stewardship and engagement plans to increase supporter retention, conversion and long-term value.
Identify and progress opportunities for major gifts, bequests and corporate support, taking ownership of relationships from cultivation through to conversion and ongoing stewardship.
Create compelling proposals, cases for support, impact reports and personalised communications that connect supporters with ANZGOG | WomenCan's research and impact.
Work collaboratively with the wider fundraising team to deliver a seamless supporter journey across acquisition, fundraising activity and long-term stewardship.
Track and report on retention, growth and conversion targets, maintaining accurate supporter records and pipeline activity within Raiser's Edge NXT.
Key Skills Experience Demonstrated experience in relationship-based fundraising, with success across major gifts, Gifts in Wills, corporate partnerships or other high-value fundraising relationships.
Strong understanding of cultivation, solicitation and stewardship, with the ability to build and progress long-term supporter relationships.
Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the confidence and empathy to engage a diverse range of donors, supporters and stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing compelling proposals, cases for support and supporter communications.
A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage and prioritise a portfolio of relationships while working collaboratively across a wider team.
Confidence using CRM systems, with experience in Raiser's Edge NXT highly regarded.
