Our client is seeking a Compliance Administrator to join their Compliance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, working full time onsite in Marrickville.
This junior-level role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience within compliance and financial crime operations.
Initially, you will support a customer screening project, providing a strong introduction to AML/CTF processes, before having the opportunity to gain exposure to other areas of the Compliance team.
You will be responsible for the following duties: Conducting customer screening checks, including PEP,



sanctions and adverse media screening Reviewing customer information and documentation and identifying any discrepancies or potential concerns Assisting with KYC and customer verification activities Supporting basic fraud and financial crime checks and escalating potential issues Updating customer records and maintaining accurate compliance documentation Liaising with internal teams to obtain or clarify information where required Providing general administrative support across the Compliance team Following internal compliance processes, policies and regulatory requirements You....
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas: Minimum 6-12 months previous experience in the workforce, ideally within administration, customer service or operations Exposure to financial crime, compliance, AML/KYC or financial services would be highly regarded but is not essential Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with customer information and data Comfortable following processes and working within a regulated environment Enthusiastic, proactive and genuinely keen to learn Willing to get involved, take on new tasks and develop your knowledge of compliance and financial crime operations Strong communication and organisational skills This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in compliance and financial crime.
