The Opportunity: Our CSI Training Centre is currently seeking experienced and safety-focused High Risk Trainers to deliver high-quality training, assessment and verification of competency across a range of high-risk work activities.
The successful candidate will bring strong operational experience, excellent communication skills and a commitment to developing capable, confident and safety-conscious personnel.
You will play a key role in ensuring workers are trained and assessed in line with legislative, site and organisational requirements.
The role will primarily be based at our recently refurbished training centre at our HQ, precinct at Osborne Park, with some travel to metro facilities in Kwinana and South Guildford at CSI facilities If you are an experienced High Risk Trainer who is passionate about building workforce capability and promoting safe work practices, we want to hear from you.
Key responsibilities Deliver practical and theory-based high-risk work training and assessment.
Delivery of Working at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Testing, Provide First Aid Conduct verification of competency (VOC) assessments for relevant plant, equipment and licences.
Develop and maintain training materials, assessment tools and learner records.
Provide coaching and support to operators, trainees and supervisors.
Ensure all training is delivered in accordance with applicable legislation, standards,



site procedures and safety requirements.
Identify competency gaps and recommend appropriate training or development actions.
Maintain accurate training records and contribute to continuous improvement of training systems.
About You: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – TAE***** Current high-risk work licences and demonstrated operational competency in: DG – Dogging RB – Basic Rigging RI – Intermediate Rigging CN – Non-slewing Mobile Crane C6 – Slewing Mobile Crane up to 60 tonnes WP – Boom-type Elevating Work Platform FL – Forklift Truck Proven experience delivering workplace-based training and competency assessments.
Strong knowledge of high-risk work requirements, safe work practices and relevant legislation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A current Australian driver's licence.
Experience working in mining, resources, construction or heavy industry.
Experience with site-based learning management systems and training compliance platforms.
First Aid and CPR certification.
Experience developing training packages, assessments and practical learning resources.
