Storeperson and Delivery Driver Location: Cairns Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00 am start Employment type: ASAP START Pay rate: $***** We are seeking a reliable Storeperson and Delivery Driver to support a busy paint supply operation.
This is a hands on position combining local deliveries with general warehouse duties.
The successful candidate will hold a current C Class driver licence, be confident driving an automatic utility vehicle and be comfortable with repetitive physical duties.
About the role Your responsibilities will include: Completing store deliveries in a **** Isuzu D Max automatic utility vehicle Safely loading and unloading drums and pails of paint Handling mostly 15 litre pails weighing approximately 20 to 25 kg, with some items weighing up to 32 kg Delivering cartons, painting accessories and tools Putting incoming and returned stock away Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse Completing general housekeeping and cleaning duties Assisting with other warehouse tasks when deliveries are completed About you To be considered, you will need:



A current and valid C Class driver licence The ability to provide a copy of your licence before or on your first shift Confidence driving an automatic utility vehicle The physical capacity to safely and repeatedly handle items weighing between 20 and 32 kg Previous delivery driving, stores, warehousing or manual handling experience A reliable and safety focused approach Good communication and customer service skills Availability to commence at 7.00 am, Monday to Friday Hours What is on offer A varied role combining driving and warehouse duties Contemporary automatic delivery vehicle Opportunity to work with a supportive stores and delivery team If you are a dependable driver who enjoys practical work and can safely meet the manual handling requirements, we encourage you to apply.
