Job Title - JDN FMS officer Job Id ******* Security Clearance: NV1 Clearance Length of Contract: 12 months The role closes on 08/09/2026 Location: 25 National Cct Forrest ACT Product Management: Provision of Product Management services to support capability delivery.
Co-ordinate In-Service Support arrangements, Risks, Issues and Opportunities with support contractors.
Develop, update and coordinate In-Service Support artefacts.
Execute the Support Services Management Plan to assure delivery of fit for purpose outcomes within contracted cost and schedule to meet service capability needs.
Provide monthly Product management reporting Coordinate and conduct internal review activities.
Coordinate stakeholder engagement and review activities.
Manage and maintain Product WBS and schedule documentation, including the review and development of in-service support plans.
Coordinate Product/Fleet governance activities.
Develop, review and co-ordinate Contract Change Proposals Review and assess supplier deliverables.
Identify and manage capability risk, issues and opportunities.
Coordinate Engineering Services in accordance with the JC4SPO EMP and CMP.

Coordinate Logistics Services in accordance with the JC4SPO ILSP, ESCM and Systems ILSI (as required).
Oversee and review planned and unplanned maintenance schedules.
Monitor and provide oversight of Supply Support arrangements for products/fleets in accordance with approved JC4SPO documentation and plans.
Support development and execution of future Sustainment Contracts.
Coordinate and liaise with the Capability Manager to support Fundamental Input to Capability (FIC) integration.
Coordinate with related projects to realise FIC efficiencies.
Engage and contribute to Configuration Control Board (CCB) outcomes.
Provision of SME guidance / mentoring to other Product/Fleet team members.

Capability Support: Provision of support to the Capability Manager including: o Provide SME advice to the Capability manager.
o Strategic / stakeholder engagement.
o Identify and manage System Specifications and End User requirements to meet Capability delivery o Identify and manage capability risks, issues and opportunities on behalf of the Capability Manager Maintain a current approved Authority to Operate (ATO) for product/fleet to participate on the Joint Data Network.
Support and assist all ADF units seeking an Authority to Operate on the JDN.
Develop, update and maintain approved cryptographic Key Management Plans (KMP) for the JDN network through the Defence Cryptographic Agency (DCA).

Export Controls: Manage Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA's) and Third-Party Retransfer (TPR's) agreements for product/fleet.
Provide advice and assistance for Export Control reviews.
Review of data sharing proposals that ensure compliance with Export Control restrictions Transition Management: Represent the SPO as the transition lead between the SPO and other products as required.
Provide coordination of RFI from other projects/products.
Provide SME advice on impacts to current capability of proposed new capabilities.
Identify risk to current capability as a result of recent platform/project implementation.
Identify transition documentation requirements to support acquisition into service and transition to sustainment activities.




Review and provide feedback on all proposed transition documentation suite of artefacts.
Mandatory Skills required: Relevant domain knowledge Current and relevant fleet management and FMS experience Knowledge commensurate with the skill level required of relevant Australian and International Standards, regulations, and Defence requirements/methodologies.
Desirable: Understanding of military Command and Control technologies such as Tactical Data Links would be beneficial.
Previous experience in the CASG / Defence.
SFIA Skills Sought: The provision of support and guidance on portfolio, programme and project management processes, procedures, tools and techniques.
Support includes definition of portfolios, programmes, and projects; advice on the development, production and maintenance of business cases; time, resource, cost and exception plans, and the use of related software tools.
Tracking and reporting of programme/project progress and performance are also covered, as is the capability to facilitate all aspects of portfolio/ programme/ project meetings, workshops and documentation.
METL Level 3: Uses recommended portfolio, programme and project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking.
Sets up project files, compiles and distributes reports.
Provides administrative services to project boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings.
Provides guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques.
