Marrickville Rd Preschool is seeking a passionate and experienced Director / Nominated Supervisor to join our dedicated team 4 days per week.
n

About the Role
n
As the Nominated Supervisor and Director, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of the service, maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting high-quality educational practices.
n
This is a people-focused leadership role. You will work closely with the team both on and off the floor,



providing support, guidance and mentoring while helping create a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
n
You will also build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community, creating trust, connection and meaningful community involvement.
n
This role is well suited to a confident, approachable and collaborative leader who is passionate about mentoring educators, building a strong team culture and delivering excellence in early childhood education.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service
n
Ensure compliance with the NQF, Child Safe Standards and QIP
n
Support and mentor educators to achieve high-quality outcomes
n
Work collaboratively on and off the floor, including assisting with lunch-break coverage when required
n
Manage administrative responsibilities, including enrolments, records, compliance documentation and reporting
n
Maintain accurate records through the OWNA platform
n
Build strong and positive relationships with children, families and the community
n
Foster a positive, respectful and collaborative team culture
n
Support rosters,



staffing requirements and service operations
n
Contribute to continuous improvement and quality outcomes
n
Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)
n
Previous experience in as a Director in an Early Childhood Service
n
Strong knowledge of the NQF
n
Experience using OWNA or a similar childcare management system
n
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
n
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
n
A genuine passion for people, leadership and early childhood education
n
