Job Description
The Aboriginal Allied Health Assistant (AAHA) supports allied health professionals to provide culturally responsive, safe and high-quality Allied Health Services within the Central Australian community.
The AAHA will support one or more of the following allied health disciplines; Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Eye Health/Vision rehabilitation, Diabetes Nurse education, Audiology, Disability and aged care and/or Dietetics.
This is a new and exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting.
The AAHA will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of Allied Health professionals to ensure the smooth running of the Allied Health teams.
This position incorporates support to complete formal training (Certificate III or IV)
in Allied Health Assistance for those who have not yet undertaken formal training.
Only Australian Aboriginal identified persons will be shortlisted and interviewed for this role.
