The Role:
n
We're seeking a casual Bar Supervisor to join our team at The Balcony! We're looking for a team member to work two (2) to three (3) shifts per week in our fast-paced, entertainment venue. Lead bar operations, support events, and help deliver an unforgettable experience in one of the Coast's most iconic live music destinations.

What You'll Do:

Lead daily bar operations in a fast-paced live music environment, ensuring top-notch service, venue presentation, and compliance with RSA and safety standards.
n
Supervise, train, and motivate bar staff to deliver outstanding customer experiences in a high-energy setting.
n
Work closely with management to support live events, gigs, and promotions that drive sales and enhance the venue experience.
n
Oversee stock control, ordering,



and reconciliation, investigating discrepancies to maintain smooth and efficient inventory management.
n
Manage cash handling and POS procedures, ensuring accuracy in till reconciliation and financial reporting.
n
Handle customer feedback and inquiries professionally, helping build a welcoming and memorable atmosphere for locals and visitors.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in hospitality, food & beverage or bar management.
n
A passion and interest in bar services and live music.
n
Demonstrated ability to lead and train a team to deliver consistent, high-quality customer service.
n
Skilled in cocktail making with a strong focus on presentation and consistency.
n
Ability to manage in a fast-paced workplace with a proactive and hands-on approach.
n
Strong problem-solving skills and a professional approach to handling customer concerns and complaints.
n
Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
n
