About the Role
n
Duty Manager – you will lead the Front Office team, managing daily hotel operations in the absence of the Hotel Manager, ensuring smooth service delivery, guest satisfaction, security, and profitability.
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
2‐3 years in a duty manager or similar role within a branded or independent hotel.
n
Ability to lead hotel operations independently, ensuring skilled service delivery.
n
Strong understanding of Front Office operations: rostering, guest arrivals/departures, team coordination.
n
Experience managing hotel security, guest complaints and incident reporting.
n
Proficiency in rate management and revenue maximisation through collaboration with key departments.
n




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills fostering positive relationships.
n
Promotion of hotel features and services, cultivating a strong sales culture.
n
Commitment to high service standards and brand values.
n
WH&S; compliance, crisis management and safeguarding hotel assets.

Key Accountabilities

Lead and oversee hotel operations during shifts.
n
Support and supervise Front Office operations, ensuring staff presentation and standards.
n
Maintain guest satisfaction, resolving issues and promoting a welcoming culture.
n
Monitor hotel security and safety procedures, ensuring WH&S; compliance.
n
Drive occupancy and revenue by supporting rate‐management strategies.
n
Communicate across departments for operational efficiency.
n
Assist with rostering, staffing and cost control to meet targets.
n
