About the role

You'resomeone who:
Delivers road design projects effectively, planning and coordinating work, monitoring progress and ensuring outcomes are achieved within agreed scope, timeframes and budgets.
Applies strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret standards, assess design challenges and develop practical, site-specific solutions.
Collaborates effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, sharing knowledge, supporting others and contributing to a positive team workplace.
Adapts to changing priorities and works comfortably across multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
Brings strong technical road design expertise, including geometric and drainage design, roadside safety infrastructure, and the use of CADD tools such as MicroStation, OpenRoads and related design platforms.

Qualifications and experience
You'llbring:
A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, with 3-5 years of recent experience in the design and documentation of road design projects (mandatory).




Strong technical knowledge of road design, roadside infrastructure and drainage, with proven ability to apply Austroads, DTP and other relevant design standards and guidelines across rural and urban environments (mandatory).
Proficiency in Bentley design software, including MicroStation Connect, OpenRoads Designer and ProjectWise, together with a Victorian Driver's Licence, White Card and the ability to travel within Victoria for site inspections (mandatory).

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
