About Knox Private Hospital
Located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited 334-bed tertiary facility providing a comprehensive range of medical, surgical and cardiac services.
Our extensive cardiac program includes two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories, Coronary Care services and Cardiothoracic Surgery.
As part of our cardiac nursing team,
you'll gain valuable experience caring for patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures and supporting them throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
About the Role
As an Enrolled Nurse within our Cardiac Services team, you will play an important role in delivering safe, high-quality care and positive patient outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering evidence-based nursing care under the direction and supervision of Registered Nurses
Providing exceptional care to patients before and after Cardiac Catheter Laboratory procedures and Cardiothoracic Surgery
Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve the best patient outcomes
Administering medications in accordance with legislation and organisational policies
Supporting a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement
Building positive relationships with patients, families and colleagues
Participating in ongoing professional development and education opportunities
About You
We're looking for a motivated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse who thrives in a team environment and is committed to exceptional patient care.
To be successful, you will have:
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with no restrictions
Minimum 12 months' experience in cardiac nursing
Working with Children Check
Solid clinical, communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management and organisational abilities
Sound clinical judgement and problem-solving skills
Commitment to delivering safe,
high-quality patient care
Ability to work across a rotating roster

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the
Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement ****
(Salary range between $***** and $***** + 12% Super)
