K&S; Freighters maintains one of Australia's largest company-owned fleet, employing over **** personnel and headquartered in Truganina, Victoria.About Chemtrans:Chemtrans is a division of K&S; Corporation and is a well-respected industry leader in the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of Dangerous and Hazardous Goods and chemicals throughout Australia.The Role:This is a key national role for someone who thrives on building relationships, creating opportunities, and driving growth, with the flexibility to be based anywhere on the East Coast of Australia.You'll be the face of the Chemtrans Hi-Ex business with key customers, strengthening existing partnerships while opening doors to new opportunities across Australia.Working closely with the EGM and operational teams, you'll have the opportunity to influence commercial strategy, shape customer solutions, and play a direct role in the continued growth of the Hi-Ex business.
This national role will require frequent travel to support customer and operational requirements.Key responsibilities include:Develop new business and grow existing customer accountsBuild strong relationships with customers through regular face-to-face engagementManage enquiries, quotations, tenders, pricing,
and commercial modellingMaintain a strong understanding of customer contracts, KPIs and commercial requirementsPartner with the EGM, Account Managers, and operational teams to deliver effective customer solutionsEnsure customer reporting, rate escalations and fuel levies are accurate and completed on timeIdentify and drive continuous improvement opportunitiesChampion K&S; health, safety, environmental and compliance standardsEnsure compliance with relevant transport, dangerous goods, and explosives requirementsYou will bring:Proven business development, account management, or commercial management experienceExperience within transport, logistics, dangerous goods, explosives, or a similarly regulated industryStrong commercial acumen, including tenders, pricing, and commercial modellingDemonstrated ability to develop new business and grow existing accountsStrong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsKnowledge of explosive vehicle requirements and relevant Australian explosives regulations/codesA strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer serviceIndustry involvement with AEISG (Australian Explosives Industry Safety Group), AEC and TLIG will be highly regarded, along with the ability to obtain relevant Queensland and South Australian clearances associated with explosives and SSAN licensing.Why join Us:This is an exciting opportunity to join the Chemtrans Hi-Ex division at a time ofbusiness growth and team expansion.If you're a commercially driven relationship builder looking to make an impact in a specialised national business, we'd like to hear from you –To uphold our core value of Everybody Protected Everyday a pre-employment medical and police check will be required to be successful in this role.Applicants must have full Australian working rights.
