About the roleKings Mechanical is seeking an experienced Senior Motor Mechanic/Technician to join our team on a full-time basis at our Golden Grove workshop.
This is a key position within our automotive service centre, where you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to the highest standards.
Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and their vehicles are returned in optimal working condition.
This role is central to maintaining Kings Mechanical's reputation for quality workmanship and reliable customer service.Key responsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance services including logbook servicing and timing beltsDiagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledgeRepair and replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and brake systemsMaintain detailed service records and provide accurate documentation of all work completedOperate and maintain workshop tools and equipment safely and responsiblyWork collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient workshop operationsKeep up to date with developments in vehicle technology and repair techniquesWhat we're looking forA minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified motor mechanic/technicianCert III or IV in Motor Vehicle TechnologyA good knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair proceduresAuto-electrical knowledge preferredStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines whilst maintaining quality standardsMust have Australian work authorisation and valid visa.
