Our firm is dedicated to serving our local, rural communities and their people - whenever they need us.The Solicitor will provide legal advice, prepare and draft legal documents, and conduct negotiations on behalf of clients on matters associated with the law.Key responsibilities include:Adhering to Work Health and Safety regulations and compling with all company policies & procedures;Administrative duties, including; filing, phone calls, taking payments,



management of files and Diary Management;Assessing Conflict of Interests;Attending public functions and building and maintaining professional networks;Debt Recovery;Delegating and checking work completed by Paralegal/Secretary;Ensuring that CPD has been completed each year;Instructing Barristers;Invoicing and billing of clients;Liaising with other professionals and qualified organisations;Representing clients in Court, Mediation, Arbitration and Settlement conferences and negotiating disputes;Researching Statue and Case Law and drafting Legal DocumentsTaking client instructions and providing legal advice to clients, both written and verbal, while maintaining confidentiality.To be considered you will need a relevant Bachelor Degree or higher qualification and at least 1 year of relevant employment experience.This is a full time role, an immediate start is available.
A remuneration package of $79,500 - $90,000 per annum is on offer to the successful candidate.
