Trade a growing portfolio of battery and wind assets in the NEM, backed by long-term institutional capital, from our purpose-built offices in Brighton, Melbourne.Key responsibilitiesYou will join the GreenPoint spot trading roster.Trading and Market Monitoring: Continuously monitor spot market conditions and adjust strategies in real-time.Back-testing & Simulation: Test strategies using historical data to evaluate performance and robustness.Data Analysis: Utilise in house and third party tools to identify risks and opportunities what will impact spot prices leading to improved trading decisions.Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to refine models and improve execution efficiencyAbout youAt least one year in energy markets, covering electricity spot trading, energy markets analytics, or quantitative trading, ideally within the National Electricity Market (NEM) or a comparable power marketStrong understanding of spot market dynamics, dispatch processes, and price formationExperience developing and executing trading strategies, including monitoring markets and adjusting positions in real timeStrong analytical and data interpretation skills,
