Key Responsibilities
We're on the hunt for someone that loves all things Events!
The Events Supervisor is responsible for the end‐to‐end delivery of conferences, weddings, and social functions at the resort, ensuring every event runs smoothly and reflects the Rydges brand standard.
This role coordinates with clients pre‐event to confirm run sheets, room setups, and catering requirements, then leads the on‐the‐ground team during bump‐in, service, and bump‐out to ensure a seamless guest experience.
The Events Supervisor also supervises and rosters events staff, upholds health and safety standards,



and works closely with the Food & Beverage and Sales teams to maximise event revenue and repeat bookings.
Previous experience in events as a supervisor working in hotels, bars, events or restaurants.
Experience managing and training teams, driver a strong team culture and driving a great guest experience.
Proven knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training will be provided).
Warm, friendly and approachable manor.
Great communication skills, flexibility and approachable.
Be able to anticipate the guests need and be adaptable.
Promote the venue and brand, maintain strong product knowledge, assist with training, supervision, and role allocation as required.
What You'll Bring
Ideally previous experience working in a supervisor role in events, hotels or hospitality venues.
Experience managing guest expectations and supporting the food & beverage service.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail and work ethic.
Experience managing teams and coaching staff.
Qualified with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
