Sales Director – ANZ
.
As part of a prestigious international group, the organisation delivers world-class technology solutions, software integration and consulting services that drive operational excellence across complex industries.
This critical executive appointment will report directly to the Managing Director ANZ, lead both the Sales and Customer Success organisations, and serve as an integral member of the ANZ Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
The incoming Sales Director will set and execute the commercial go-to-market strategy, driving sustainable revenue growth across new business acquisition, customer retention, renewals and account expansion.
The role requires an established commercial leader capable of embedding a disciplined sales operating model, building the capability, accountability and performance culture required to create a high-performing sales organisation, and aligning the end-to-end customer lifecycle to deliver exceptional customer and business outcomes.
Based in Brisbane preferred, or Sydney, this position represents a pivotal leadership opportunity for a growth-oriented executive to shape the commercial trajectory of the business across Australia and New Zealand.
Strategic Priorities:
Develop and execute the ANZ commercial strategy, defining market, segment and account priorities to deliver on revenue, recurring revenue and expansion targets.
Lead Sales and Customer Success as a unified lifecycle, from acquisition and onboarding through to retention, adoption and cross-sell/upsell.
Establish a rigorous operating rhythm across pipeline generation, opportunity progression, contemporary enterprise sales methodologies, disciplined qualification and high-accuracy forecasting.
Personally drive and sponsor complex,



high-value enterprise sales pursuits while cultivating strategic executive relationships with key clients and prospects.
Uphold disciplined pricing, discounting and deal-approval governance to safeguard profitability, margin quality and long-term customer value.
Collaborate with strategic technology partners and vendors to drive joint business plans, co-selling initiatives and ecosystem growth.
Build a high-performing sales organisation by developing existing talent, strengthening accountability and sales discipline, addressing sustained performance gaps where required, and recruiting additional capability where needed.
Create a high-performance commercial culture underpinned by value-based selling, continuous development, clear performance standards and accountability.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is an enterprise sales leader who combines strategic commercial acumen with a track record of driving scalable SaaS and technology revenue.
10+ years of senior sales leadership experience, with a proven background in SaaS, software, technology solutions or subscription-based business models.
Demonstrable track record of delivering significant ANZ revenue and recurring revenue targets across new logo acquisition, renewals and account expansion.
Robust practical experience applying contemporary enterprise sales methodologies, disciplined qualification frameworks, pipeline management, forecasting and revenue operations practices.
Proven leadership experience managing and developing both direct sales and Customer Success functions across multi-territory teams.




Demonstrated ability to assess team capability, develop talent, lift performance, establish clear accountability and recruit into capability gaps.
Strong commercial and contract negotiation expertise, with a focus on margin retention and commercial governance.
Excellent executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders, collaborate across functional teams including Marketing, Finance and Professional Services, and contribute to executive strategy.
Exposure to SaaS and professional services models, as well as familiarity with major design, engineering or AECO software ecosystems, is highly advantageous.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Sales, Marketing, Technology or a related discipline are preferred.
