Practice Information
This locally owned and operated private podiatry clinic is located in beautiful Boyne Island, Queensland.
Established in ****, the clinic employs three podiatrists and provides a supportive, collaborative environment with an interesting and varied caseload.
The modern clinic is supported by in-store footwear sales and 3D orthotic scanning, with close referral relationships with local physiotherapists and GPs.
Services include custom supramalleolar devices, nail surgery, DVA, NDIS and GPMP services, Doppler ABI/TBI assessment, video gait assessment and 3D scanning for orthotic prescription.
The clinic also sees a high volume of paediatric patients due to the local population and strong sporting community, creating excellent opportunities to develop skills across a broad range of clinical areas.
Position Description
This practice is seeking a Podiatrist of any experience level, with both experienced clinicians and new graduates encouraged to apply.




The successful candidate will work across a diverse caseload while being supported to develop clinical skills, confidence and independence.
The role offers exposure to general, sports, paediatric, biomechanical and orthotic podiatry within a supportive team environment.
New graduates and overseas-trained podiatrists transitioning into Australian practice will receive comprehensive support including:
Structured 12-month mentoring and professional development plan
Gradual increase in clinical responsibility and caseload complexity
Ongoing access to a Senior Podiatrist for clinical discussion and support
Weekly mentoring and case review meetings
Regular in-house CPD and clinical education
Training in running footwear assessment and prescription
Training in dermoscopy
Training in Ritchie Brace prescription
Training in SMO prescription
Longer consultation times to support learning and clinical reasoning
Access to established referral and support networks
Experienced clinicians will receive:
Minimum 30-minute appointments
60-minute biomechanical assessments
Weekly team meetings
Support to structure CPD and clinical interests
Access to strong referral networks




Flexibility to tailor their caseload and professional development
The practice supports quality podiatry care through longer appointment times, paid paperwork breaks, full reception support and flexible working arrangements.
Position Requirements
Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) or equivalent
Current AHPRA registration
Relevant industry registrations and professional indemnity insurance
Current driver's licence
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Experience across all areas of podiatry is beneficial but not essential, with training and mentoring provided to the right applicant.
