Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Social Worker looking for a new and exciting position?
Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Allied Health team on a permanent part-time basis 12 hours per week over 3 days (4 hours per day).
Our hospital offers a friendly and supportive staff environment, with our established multidisciplinary teams servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs.
This role provides the opportunity to experience a varied caseload across areas including general medical, ICU, cardiac, maternity and oncology.

As a Social Worker your responsibilities will include:
Providing a high standard of clinical care
Working independently as part of the healthcare team
Contributing to the multidisciplinary care of our patients
Involvement with both inpatient and outpatient services
Communicating effectively with all stakeholders including doctors, allied health, nurses, patients and their families
Degree in Social Work and eligibility with the AASW
Minimum 2 years' previous experience in a similar role
Demonstrated experience in adult acute inpatient hospital experience
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Skills and experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
